Information and data collected or submitted through the Joyhub Remote application are owned by SINGAPORE JOYHUB TECH PTE. LTD. (hereinafter referred to as "we," "our company," or "us").

Before using our application, please read our Privacy Policy carefully to ensure that you have read and understood all terms. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data.

This Privacy Policy applies to the data we collect:

  • Email communications with us;
  • Mobile device interactions with our application;
  • Non-browser interactions with our advertisements;
  • And your interactions with our application and advertisements on third-party websites and services, provided that such advertisements and applications link to our Privacy Statement.

How We Collect Your Personal Data

A. Data You Provide

"Personal Data" refers to any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person ("data subject");

An "identifiable natural person" is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier, or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural, or social identity of that natural person. When you use Joyhub Remote or other products or features we provide, you voluntarily share certain information:

  • Account Information: When you register an account or modify your account information, we collect certain information, such as your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, gender, and username.
  • Contact Information: We collect your username and email address, or other similar identifiers, combined with other information you voluntarily provide for specific purposes, for activities such as sweepstakes and surveys.
  • User-Submitted Personal Information: We collect information you voluntarily provide for specific purposes, as well as personalized information you freely provide. This includes, but is not limited to, date of birth, age, gender, interests, preferences, sexual orientation, feedback, survey results, and information regarding your marketing preferences concerning us and third parties.
  • Communication Information: If you contact us for customer support or other reasons, we collect this communication information. For example, your email address, the content submitted, and other relevant information.
  • We will collect certain other data, including personal data, through the application based on your consent. We do not mandate the collection of or force you to submit this data.
  • B. Automatically Collected Data
  • When you visit or use the application, we and our service providers may automatically collect certain data about you ("Usage Data"). Usage Data may include IP addresses, device identifiers, operating systems, etc. If we combine Usage Data with your Personal Data, we will treat the combined information as Personal Data under this Privacy Statement.
  • Log Data: Log data is information about your use of the application, such as pages used, operating system, date/time stamps, etc., stored in log files.
  • Device Information: We may collect information about your mobile device and internet connection, including the device's unique device identifier, IP address, operating system, device type, etc. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we collect IP addresses for system administration, collecting and analyzing aggregated information, providing a better user experience, and auditing the use of our website.
  • Application Activity Data: We collect data regarding your connection and use of devices (such as toys), as well as your interactions with our content, advertisements, and campaigns, and how you use our applications and services. This includes the pages you access within the application and the paths that led you to those pages. We also collect information about your time zone settings, operating system, browser, and the device used to access the application.
  • Usage Data and Inferences: While you use our services, we collect your activity data, including your interactions with the platform and content, and your interactions with other users.
  • Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you may withdraw authorization at any time or request the deletion of tags. California users may permanently opt out of the processing of portrait data by requesting "Do Not Sell My Personal Information." Disabling this feature will stop personalized recommendations and clear existing tags, but you may still receive non-personalized relevant content.   • Location Identification Technologies: Location-aware technologies can locate you (sometimes very precisely), for example, to verify your location and provide or restrict content based on your location.
  • Stored Information and Files: The application may also access metadata, tags, and other information related to other files stored on your device. For example, photos, chat records, etc.
  • User Choices: We record the choices you make in settings (including privacy settings) and whether you have enabled notifications.
  • Please exercise caution when posting user-generated content. As part of user participation, you make this data and content public. You allow others to view, collect, use, and disclose any information you voluntarily upload or submit. We cannot control what other users may do with your user contributions or who can access this content.
  • We may use your data to generate and share anonymous aggregated insights about you; this data does not personally identify you. Such aggregated data is not included in Personal Information.
  • We do not permit or intend to allow minors under the age of 18, or under the age specified by applicable law, to use our application. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you are a parent or legal guardian of a minor who has provided personal information, please contact us via email at mailto:support@Joyhub.net to request the deletion of the minor's personal information.

How We Use Your Personal Data and Purposes of Use

  • Service Provision: We use identifiers, application activity data, and, for registered users only, contact information, payment and commercial information, and user contributions to present our application and its content to you, including any interactive features, to provide you with information or services you request, and to verify your eligibility and award prizes in contests and sweepstakes.
  • Customer Management: We use identifiers, contact information, and payment and commercial information to manage user accounts, provide customer support, and notify users of changes to our application or any goods or services we provide through it, as well as when their subscriptions and accounts are about to expire or renew. We use identifiers to verify your identity and the accuracy of the identifiers you provided when registering for specific services on the application.
  • Customized Content and Marketing: We create content and advertisements tailored to your interests based on your use of the application or your interest in goods, services, and content on the application. We achieve this by using user-submitted personal information, identifiers and contact information, application activity data, and user contributions.
  • Analytics: By using identifiers and application activity data, we monitor aggregated metrics such as total number of visitors, number of pages visited, and demographic trends. We also use this data to determine whether each application user is unique or if the same user is repeatedly using the application.
  • Bluetooth Connection: When you connect via Bluetooth to use toys, we collect and use your precise geolocation information, product information, device information, and other data.
  • Functionality and Security: We may use any type of information we collect to verify your payment information, identify and handle any actual or suspected fraud, illegal activities, or intellectual property infringement issues, and to identify and fix technical problems.
  • Compliance: We may use any category of data we collect to comply with our legal obligations and enforce our terms and conditions.
  • Communication: We may collect and use your personal information to communicate with you via email, telephone, and mail, subject to your consent. Some of these activities may be considered "targeted advertising," "sharing," or "selling" as defined by privacy laws in certain US states. You may opt out of allowing Joyhub to use and disclose your information for these purposes. You have the right to block us from conducting marketing communications at any time by contacting us via email and using the word "unsubscribe" in the subject line of the email.   • Please note that your opt-out applies only to the email address used and does not affect subsequent non-promotional communications, such as those regarding your account, services, or our ongoing business relationship.
  • User-submitted contact information and personally identifiable information will be used for further purposes determined at the time of submission (e.g., contests); or, for other purposes, in cases where you have granted consent separate from this Privacy Policy.

Legal Basis for Using Your Personal Data

In accordance with applicable data protection regulations, we process personal data only on the following legal bases:

  • Contractual Necessity: Data processing is necessary to fulfill our obligations under the "Terms of Service" and any supplementary agreements signed with you. This includes, but is not limited to, account management, service delivery, maintenance of core functionalities, and the implementation of security control measures.
  • Legal Obligation: Data processing is necessary to comply with legal requirements, such as identity verification procedures mandated by anti-money laundering laws, tax regulations, and directives from other jurisdictions.
  • Legitimate Interests: We process data based on legitimate interests within certain reasonable limits, including but not limited to:Optimizing service quality through aggregated analysis (excluding personally identifiable information);Conducting targeted marketing activities while balancing the rights of data subjects;Implementing operational security measures to prevent fraud.
  • Your Consent: In specific scenarios, we will process relevant data only after obtaining your explicit prior authorization.

How We Share Your Personal Data

  • With the General Public: When you use our applications and services, you may choose to voluntarily publish user-generated content (e.g., audio and video files).
  • Within Our Corporate Group: To achieve the purposes described in the preceding sections of this Privacy Policy, we may share any category of personal information with our affiliated companies and subsidiary business entities within our corporate group, to the extent necessary.
  • Service Providers: We may share specific categories of personal data collected with approved service providers who perform specific functions on our behalf. These functions include, but are not limited to: order fulfillment and payment processing, risk and fraud detection and prevention, identity and document authenticity verification, customer service, marketing and advertising delivery, content customization, data analytics, system security, application hosting, and assistance in operating their functions. To perform their duties, these service providers may require access to personal information, but they are prohibited from sharing or using such information for other purposes. We grant approved service providers access to collected personal data provided that they serve us under legally binding Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) and commit to complying with applicable privacy laws and regulations. These partners are contractually prohibited from retaining, using, or disclosing personal data except for the purpose of performing the designated services.
  • Legal Successors: In the event of a merger, acquisition, sale, or transfer of part or all of our assets, whether as a going concern or in bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceedings, we may disclose all categories of personal information we have collected to the buyer or other successors.
  • Legal Obligations: We may share your information to comply with legal obligations in the following circumstances:Disclosure in response to court orders, legal requirements, or judicial processes, including inquiries and requests from government or regulatory authorities;If we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the legitimate rights, property, or safety of our company, our customers, or others. This may include exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud prevention and credit risk reduction.

Protection of Personal Data

We take measures to protect your information from loss, theft, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. For example, we implement technical and administrative access controls to limit which employees can access non-public personal information. You should understand that no data storage system or transmission of data over the internet or any other public network can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was originally collected. This may include fulfilling reporting, accounting, or legal obligations, or until your account remains active.

In determining the appropriate retention period for personal data, we evaluate various factors, including the type of personal data we process, the potential harm that could result from any unauthorized disclosure, the purpose of the processing, and whether our objectives can be achieved without processing your personal data.

As described in the section "Rights Regarding Your Personal Information" below, where permitted, we will also delete your personal information upon your request, and remove it from our systems when it is no longer needed for the purposes listed in this Privacy Policy.


Rights Regarding Your Personal Data

You have various rights concerning the personal information we collect, use, or disclose. Some of these rights include:

  • Right to Withdraw Consent: You have the right to notify us at any time that you no longer wish for us to process or use your personal data. Withdrawing consent will not affect the lawfulness of our collection, use, processing, or distribution of data prior to the withdrawal.
  • Right to Correction: You have the right to notify us at any time to correct inaccurate personal data concerning you.
  • Right to Erasure (Right to be Forgotten): You have the right to notify us at any time to delete or destroy your personal data. Through your account settings, you can delete audio and video content provided by the user.
  • Right to Object: You have the right to request that we use your personal data only when necessary to promote our legitimate interests or the public interest.
  • Right to Restrict Processing: In certain circumstances, you have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data held by us. You may choose not to provide certain personal information to us; however, doing so may affect your ability to use certain features of our application. For example, functions such as purchasing services, registering as a member, participating in polls, contests, or sweepstakes, asking questions, or initiating other activities on our application may require you to provide specific personal information to function correctly.
  • Right of Access: You have the right to access the personal data stored and processed by the company in an organized, commonly used, and machine-readable format, and to understand how such personal data is used.
  • Right to Data Portability: You have the right to obtain a copy of the personal data stored and processed by the company and to instruct the company to transfer your personal data to another controller.
  • Additionally, you are always free to delete and deactivate your account from our website. If you do so, you will no longer be able to access your profile. If you decide to re-register an account in the future, all information previously provided or saved in your old account will be lost, and you will need to start over by creating a new account and re-providing the relevant information.

If you reside in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
  • We and our service providers may collect and use your personal information for marketing purposes. We may send you direct marketing communications. To opt out, you can turn off SMS and phone notifications in "Me - Settings - Message Notifications".
  • You may also choose to stop receiving any marketing emails from us by using the unsubscribe link included in each communication. If you are a registered user, you may still receive emails from us regarding orders, surveys, administrative notices, and other transactional and relationship-related matters. This means that even if you opt out of marketing emails, we will still communicate with you via email regarding important service information when necessary.
  • If you have not created an account with us, please note that we may be unable to fulfill your request as we may not have sufficient information to identify you. In some cases, we may also require you to provide additional information to fully verify your identity or obtain your authorization to process the request.
  • Since user accounts are closely linked to the use of certain personal information (such as email addresses), please note that certain requests to delete specific personal information may also result in the loss of your user account.
  • Please note that if you exercise your Right of Access and Right to Data Portability to obtain a copy of personal data stored by Joyhub Remote, we reserve the right to restrict access to "chat record" data, as this involves the consent of third parties. Additionally, when you exercise your personal data rights, we reserve the right to conduct reasonable verification to confirm that you are the rightful holder of these rights.

Transfer of Your Personal Data to Foreign Countries

By using the App, you consent to the transfer of any personal information we collect to other countries where we, our service providers, affiliates, and other members of our corporate group are located, to the extent permitted by law.

Whenever we send personal data to countries outside the European Economic Area ("EEA") or other regions with strict data protection laws, we ensure that the transfer complies with applicable laws. We always ensure the security of your data transfers through strict contractual provisions, technical and organizational measures, and additional controls. Information controlled by Joyhub Remote may be transferred or moved to the United States or other countries/regions outside your place of residence, or stored and processed in such countries/regions. We ensure your information is adequately protected based on the following safeguards:

  • Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs): The European Commission has approved Standard Contractual Clauses under Article 46 of the GDPR, allowing data transfers to countries outside the EEA.
  • Specific Situations: While information is typically transferred to countries without an adequacy decision based on SCCs, in certain circumstances, transfers may also occur under exemptions provided by data protection laws. For example, sharing information with law enforcement agencies in emergency situations where we learn that someone is facing a life-threatening danger.
  • For each data transfer, we also identify and implement additional and appropriate protective measures. We employ technical protective measures, such as encryption and pseudonymization.

Third-Party Websites

If you click on a link to a website operated by a third party, you will be directed to a website not under our control. This Privacy Policy does not apply to the privacy policies of such websites. Please carefully review the privacy policies of other websites. We have no control over the actions of these third parties.


California Rights and Choices

In the past 12 months, the categories of your personal information we collected and their sources have been disclosed in the "Sources of Data Collected" section. You can review the personal information we collected from you and its sources in that section.

In the past 12 months, we have disclosed your personal information to third parties for business purposes. The categories of personal information disclosed, the purposes of disclosure, and the categories of third parties have been listed in the "Disclosure of Your Personal Data" section, where you can obtain relevant information.

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA"), you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right to Know / Right of Access: You have the right to request that we provide the categories of personal information we have collected, the categories of sources from which such information was collected, the purposes for processing such information, and the categories or specific names of third parties to whom we have disclosed such information.
  • Right to Deletion: You have the right to request that we delete personal information we have collected from you.
  • Right to Correction: You have the right to request that we correct inaccurate personal information we hold about you.
  • Right to Opt-Out of Sale/Sharing: If we process your personal information in a manner defined as "sale" or "sharing" under California privacy laws, you have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and to opt out of sharing your personal information for targeted advertising purposes. Please note that even if you opt out, you may still see advertisements on our services, but these ads will not be personalized based on your data from other websites.
  • Right to Limit Use and Disclosure of Sensitive Personal Information: California residents have the right to request that we limit the use and disclosure of their sensitive personal information, unless otherwise exempted by law.
  • Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA rights.

In either case, you must provide the username and email address used when registering your account, as well as any other information we may reasonably require to locate your information in our system and verify your identity. We may require you to verify that the account and/or email address used for registration is still valid.
  • You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. To do so, provide the information mentioned above so we can verify your identity and locate your records, along with a notarized power of attorney authorizing the agent to act on your behalf. Alternatively, you must submit evidence that you have completed our process, sign a form permitting the agent to act on your behalf, and personally verify your identity through the methods described above.
  • We share specific categories of personal information of California residents for business purposes, as described in the "Disclosure of Your Personal Data" section above.
  • We do not sell the personal information of California residents. We do not use sensitive personal information for purposes other than those specified in Section 7027(m) of the CCPA regulations.

Notice to Nevada Residents / Your Nevada Privacy Rights

We do not provide the personal information of Nevada residents to third parties for the purpose of selling or licensing such information in exchange for payment.
